Un encuentro para celebrar la vida de Vilcabamba, conocer las iniciativas que están transformando nuestra comunidad y descubrir nuevas formas de colaborar para cuidar el lugar que compartimos.
¿Qué es el Festival Planetario?
El Festival Planetario es una iniciativa de la Biorregión Soberana y Regenerativa de la Cuenca Alta del Río Catamayo. Es un espacio para reunir a las personas, proyectos, conocimientos y recursos que contribuyen al bienestar de nuestra comunidad y a la regeneración del valle.
Queremos fortalecer los vínculos entre habitantes locales, comunidades rurales, nuevos residentes y personas de distintas partes del mundo que hoy llaman a Vilcabamba su hogar.
Creemos que la regeneración comienza cuando nos escuchamos, reconocemos lo que ya existe y encontramos maneras de trabajar juntos.
Todos tenemos algo que aprender, algo que ofrecer y algo que regenerar.

Proyectos que inspiran
Conoce iniciativas locales que trabajan por la regeneración ambiental, la soberanía alimentaria, la educación, la cultura, la salud, el bienestar y la economía regenerativa. Descubre lo que hacen, comparte ideas y encuentra formas de colaborar, ofrecer tu tiempo o apoyar sus proyectos.
Mercado Regenerativo
Un encuentro con productores, artesanos, emprendimientos y marcas locales que muestran la riqueza creativa y productiva de Vilcabamba. Una oportunidad para conocer lo que se cultiva, produce y crea en nuestra comunidad, y fortalecer la economía local.
Bienestar y salud comunitaria
Un espacio para acercarnos a distintas prácticas, conocimientos y experiencias relacionadas con la salud integral, la nutrición, las plantas medicinales, el movimiento y el bienestar físico y emocional.
Cultura, arte y música
Música en vivo, danza, expresiones artísticas y encuentros interculturales que celebran la diversidad de nuestra comunidad y los conocimientos que nos conectan con nuestras raíces.
Recetas Longevas: Recetas con Historia
Un concurso interbarrial para recuperar recetas tradicionales de Vilcabamba y reconocer a las personas y familias que mantienen vivos estos saberes. Las recetas ganadoras compartirán sus historias durante el festival, celebrando la memoria gastronómica del valle.
La Voz del Valle
Un espacio para escuchar a la comunidad, compartir ideas y recoger sueños, necesidades y propuestas para el futuro de Vilcabamba. Porque construir una biorregión también significa aprender a escucharnos.
Del encuentro a la acción: Legado Comunitario
El Festival Planetario busca dejar algo más que recuerdos. Cada edición impulsa una acción concreta que contribuya al cuidado y fortalecimiento de nuestra comunidad.
Para esta primera edición, el Legado Comunitario se centra en la prevención de incendios forestales, mediante la construcción de franjas cortafuego en San Pedro y Capamaco, dos zonas del valle gravemente afectadas por los incendios de 2024.
Esta iniciativa, impulsada por la Biorregión y Colectivo G, reúne a voluntarios, propietarios de terrenos, organizaciones locales y colaboradores. Durante el festival compartiremos la historia de este proceso y abriremos nuevas oportunidades para sumarse a futuras acciones comunitarias.
Una comunidad que se conecta y crece
El Festival Planetario es el punto de encuentro de un proceso más amplio. Queremos que las conexiones que nacen aquí se conviertan en colaboraciones, nuevos proyectos y oportunidades para quienes desean contribuir al bienestar del valle.
A través de la Biorregión buscamos visibilizar las iniciativas existentes, conectar personas y recursos, fortalecer proyectos locales y facilitar el nacimiento de nuevas ideas regenerativas.
Porque cuando conocemos lo que nuestra comunidad ya está haciendo, descubrimos que tenemos mucho más de lo que imaginamos para construir juntos.

What is the Planetary Party?
The Planetary Festival originates as an initiative of the Sovereign and Regenerative Bioregion of the Upper Catamayo River Basin. It is a space to bring together the people, projects, knowledge, and resources that contribute to the well-being of our community and the regeneration of the valley.
We aim to strengthen the bonds between local inhabitants, rural communities, new residents, and people from different parts of the world who now call Vilcabamba their home.
We believe that regeneration begins when we listen to each other, recognize what already exists, and find ways to work together.
We all have something to learn, something to offer, and something to regenerate.

Inspiring Projects
Discover local initiatives working toward environmental regeneration, food sovereignty, education, culture, health, well-being, and the regenerative economy. Learn about their work, share ideas, and find ways to collaborate, offer your time, or support their projects.
Regenerative Market
A gathering with local producers, artisans, entrepreneurs, and brands showcasing the creative and productive richness of Vilcabamba. An opportunity to learn about what is grown, produced, and created in our community, and to strengthen the local economy.
Community Wellness and Health
A space to explore various practices, knowledge, and experiences related to holistic health, nutrition, medicinal plants, movement, and physical and emotional well-being.
Culture, Art, Music
Live music, dance, artistic expressions, and intercultural exchanges that celebrate the diversity of our community and the knowledge connecting us to our roots.
Longevity Recipes
An inter-neighborhood contest to recover traditional recipes from Vilcabamba and recognize the people and families who keep this knowledge alive. The winning recipes will share their stories during the festival, celebrating the gastronomic memory of the valley.
The Voice of the Valley
A space to listen to the community, share ideas, and gather dreams, needs, and proposals for the future of Vilcabamba. Because building a bioregion also means learning to listen to each other.
From Encounter to Action: Community Legacy
The Planetary Party seeks to leave behind more than just memories. Each edition drives a concrete action that contributes to the care and strengthening of our community.
For this first edition, the Community Legacy focuses on forest fire prevention through the construction of firebreaks in San Pedro and Capamaco, two areas of the valley severely affected by the 2024 fires.
This initiative, driven by the Bioregion and Colectivo G, brings together volunteers, landowners, local organizations, and collaborators. During the festival, we will share the story of this process and open new opportunities to join future community actions.
A Community that Connects and Grows
The Planetary Festival is the meeting point of a broader process. We want the connections born here to become collaborations, new projects, and opportunities for those who wish to contribute to the well-being of the valley.
Through the Bioregion, we seek to make existing initiatives visible, connect people and resources, strengthen local projects, and facilitate the birth of new regenerative ideas.
Because when we learn what our community is already doing, we discover that we have much more than we imagine to build together.
